The Role
The Director of Guest Services oversees the front office operations to maximize profitability and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Directs the safe and efficient operation of the front office.
- Trains, supports, and provides resources to the front desk, reservations, PBX, concierge, and valet staff.
- Works with all departments to ensure compliance and hotel standards meet brand and guest expectations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of guest services department head or similar managerial experience required.
- Management or previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Associate degree and/or equivalent work experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures.
