About Us

Health is the most important thing in life, and the American healthcare system is completely broken—poor outcomes, high cost, bad patient experience. We're building a new system from the ground up. Our mission is to improve people’s health by making it easy to live a healthy lifestyle. Nourish is the country's largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic. We’re an AI-native digital health system matching patients with 10,000+ Registered Dietitians, physicians, medications, lab testing, and AI agents to deliver insurance-covered care across all 50 states. Founded four years ago, we've completed millions of appointments, tripled year-over-year, and partnered with health plans covering 200M+ Americans across 250+ health systems. In 2026 we raised a $100M Series C, bringing total funding to $215M. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Atomico, Daybreak, and Operator Partners.

About the Role

As the Director of Growth Strategy (Sales Strategy), you will own the strategy and operating system for improving the productivity of Nourish’s fastest-growing patient acquisition channel. You will establish how we understand and improve sales performance: diagnosing its underlying drivers, identifying the highest-leverage opportunities, setting the roadmap, and building the team and operating system required to deliver measurable results. You will lead the Sales Strategy & Operations team and serve as a core operating partner to Sales leadership. You will also bring together Enablement, Analytics, Product, and Engineering to solve the most important barriers to sales performance. Reporting to our Head of Growth Strategy, this role combines first-principles strategy, people leadership, and hands-on execution. You will not inherit a mature playbook—you will help design how one of Nourish’s most important growth engines operates as the company scales. This role is full-time and open to NYC-based candidates only (expectation to work in-person 3+ days per week, with some remote flexibility). Our office is located in Flatiron.

Responsibilities

  • Define the sales productivity strategy: Establish a clear view of what drives rep productivity, where the greatest upside exists, and which outcomes matter most. Set targets and build the sequenced roadmap to improve performance in partnership with Sales Leadership and Enablement.
  • Turn the strategy into an executable plan: Translate the productivity roadmap into a focused set of initiatives with clear priorities, owners, success metrics, and resource requirements. Determine where the organization should invest—and what it should deprioritize—to achieve its goals.
  • Own the cross-functional operating model: Define how Sales Leadership, Enablement, Sales Strategy, Analytics, Product, and Engineering work together to execute the plan. Build the planning, measurement, and decision-making cadences required to identify performance gaps, turn insights into action, and hold teams accountable for results.
  • Build and lead the Sales Strategy function: Develop the existing team, determine the capabilities and organizational structure needed as the business scales, and hire against those needs. Set a high bar for strategic thinking, analytical rigor, execution, and people development across the function.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience, with a mix of strategy work (e.g., management consulting, finance, business operations) and direct start-up experience.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams and excellent people management skills.
  • Willingness to dig into analysis and execution when required.
  • First-principles thinker: ability to tackle ambiguous problems, identify key outcomes, break them into underlying drivers, and design practical solutions.
  • Highly analytical, comfortable using imperfect data to identify performance gaps, make tradeoffs, and measure strategy effectiveness.
  • Thrive in fast-moving environments, managing multiple workstreams while ensuring important details are not overlooked.
  • Exceptional cross-functional leader: ability to create clarity, establish accountability, and drive decisions across teams you do not directly manage.
  • Experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, GTM Strategy, or similar roles is strongly preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for this position.
