About the Role
The Director provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for assigned RVCC programs, ensuring services are delivered in alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and best practices. This role is responsible for supervising staff, overseeing recruitment, training, performance evaluations, budget management, and maintaining high standards of program quality and compliance. The Program Director also collaborates with executive leadership, internal departments, and community partners to strengthen services, support program development, monitor outcomes, and drive continuous quality improvement and organizational growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the recruitment, training, evaluation, and supervision of the on-the-job performance of assigned personnel.
- Prepare annual budgets for assigned programs and manage the programs and staff consistent with approved budgetary goals.
- Establish and achieve goals and objectives for assigned programs consistent with RVCC goals and advances in the applicable fields of treatment or advocacy.
- Propose, plan, oversee, and develop approaches, services, and programs that enhance RVCC services and respond to the needs of clients within the assigned programs.
- Cultivate, enhance, and maintain interdepartmental staff, affiliated organizations, and community relationships.
- Identify, collect, and report relevant statistical data to reflect the activities of the assigned programs and staff and ensure compliance with administrative, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Aggressively market RVCC services in collaboration with the CEO and maintain ongoing communications with community, state, federal, and private or public resources with whom RVCC has or desires contracts.
- Plan, implement, and/or coordinate appropriate programs and services in collaboration with other RVCC departments, affiliated organizations, and community agencies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related health or human services field.
- LICSW, LMHC, or Psychologist licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Four years of experience in health or human services, at least two years of which were in a supervisory capacity.
Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish).
