Lovern J. Gordon is the Founder of Love Life Now Foundation, Inc. (LLN) which promotes year-round awareness around domestic violence (DV) and the author of The Legacy He Left Me - a domestic violence memoir. She used 2 back to back pageant wins in 2010 as a platform to increase awareness around the issue. The following year, LLN was formed. They conduct DV Workshops worldwide and host initiatives locally that raise thousands of dollars to benefit DV shelters nationwide. , Mission Love Life Now Foundation (LLN) Love Life Now Foundation (LLN) is a Massachusetts-based awareness and empowerment organization dedicated to education, advocacy, and community engagement around the issue of domestic violence (DV). LLN also provides direct assistance to survivors to bridge critical gaps in existing services and addresses the unique needs of underserved communities. For more information, please visit LLN’s website at https //lovelifenow.org The Director of Fundraising and Development is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure financial support for LLN's programs and event initiatives. This role includes cultivating relationships with donors, planning fundraising events, submitting sponsorship proposals, and managing donor databases. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the LLN's mission, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to meet fundraising goals. Responsibilities Donor Engagement and Relationship Building Identify, research, and cultivate relationships with potential individual and corporate donors.Develop and maintain relationships with current donors to encourage repeat and increased contributions.Plan and execute donor appreciation and stewardship activities. Fundraising Campaigns and Events Create and implement annual fundraising strategies, including major giving, peer-to-peer campaigns, and online fundraising initiatives.Plan, organize, and execute LLN’s existing fundraising events, such as our gala, Heel-A-Thon Walk, and survivor models fashion show.Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials for campaigns and events. Donor Database Management and Reporting Oversee confidential donor management systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.Work with LLN’s leadership to set fundraising goals and strategies.Use data to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Requirements And Skills Proven success in achieving fundraising goals and managing donor relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with donor management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge) and online fundraising platforms. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. At least 2 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or related fields. Location Virtual TimeCommitment This will be a 2-year board seat term that can be rolled over to another 2-year term, if Board service is in good standing.
