About the role

The Sebastian Vail is seeking a charismatic and experienced Director of Front Office to join their dynamic team. This pivotal role requires a dedicated leader with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and mentor front office staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experiences and improve service quality.
  • Oversee all front office operations, including guest check-ins and check-outs, reservations, and concierge services.
  • Manage guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and operations.
  • Optimize front office efficiency by implementing effective processes and technology.
  • Monitor and manage front office budgets and financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests, team members, and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into the front office operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a front office or hospitality environment.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, guest service, and hospitality best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
