Key Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning activities
- Develop scalable FP&A processes, reporting frameworks, and KPI dashboards
- Prepare monthly and quarterly executive reporting packages including variance analysis and performance insights
- Build and maintain financial models, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions
- Partner with operational leaders to evaluate profitability, productivity, pricing, and key business drivers
- Support cash forecasting, working capital management, and financial performance monitoring
- Aid in acquisition analysis, financial due diligence, integration planning, and synergy tracking
- Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure alignment between financial reporting and operational performance
- Partner with technology and systems teams to improve business intelligence capabilities, reporting automation, and data quality
- Prepare board-level presentations and private equity reporting packages for executive leadership
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance experience
- Experience within private equity-backed organizations strongly preferred
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analytics
- Experience supporting executive leadership, boards, and private equity stakeholders
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities
- Experience with ERP platforms such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Dynamics, or similar systems
- Experience with business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reporting automation initiatives
- Understanding of job costing, unit economics, operational KPIs, and service-based business models
- Exposure to acquisitions, multi-entity environments, or integration activities preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and growth-oriented environment
Preferred Skills
- Director-level FP&A or Strategic Finance experience
- Experience supporting private equity portfolio companies
- Experience within field services, construction, infrastructure, or multi-location business models
- Exposure to multi-entity consolidations and acquisition integrations
- MBA, CFA, or advanced finance credentials preferred
