Director of Food and Dining Services

About the role

The successful candidate will oversee the operations of the Dietary Department at Garden Villas, a luxury retirement and assisted living community in West St. Louis County.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality food and excellent customer service are provided to residents and guests.
• Prior experience in catering, hospitality, or health care is preferred, but not required.
• Preferred but not required: CDM Certification and/or ServSafe certification.

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills.
• Experience in food service or related field.
• Ability to manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and preferences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Food handler’s permit.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
