Director of Dining Services
Position Overview
Premier luxury senior living community in Seattle undergoing significant growth and transformation. The Director of Dining Services must be a highly experienced hospitality leader capable of balancing resident satisfaction, financial performance, employee engagement, and operational excellence in a highly visible environment.
Required Experience
Leadership Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive food service leadership experience.
- Previous Director of Dining Services, Executive Dining Manager, Executive Chef, Hotel F&B Director, Country Club Food & Beverage Director, or Luxury Senior Living leadership experience preferred.
- Experience leading multiple managers and large frontline teams.
- Demonstrated success in building leadership teams and developing future leaders.Financial Acumen
- Strong P&L management experience.
- Proven success managing labor budgets.
- Experience controlling food cost and inventory.
- Comfortable with financial reporting, forecasting, and operational analytics.
- Strong understanding of productivity management.Client & Resident Relations
- Executive-level communication skills.
- Experience managing high-expectation clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate resident concerns professionally and confidently.
- Skilled relationship builder.Specific Needs
- Stabilize labor management.
- Eliminate unnecessary overtime.
- Improve food cost performance.
- Ensure consistent financial reporting and accountability.
- Maintain survey readiness standards.
- Strengthen management team performance.
- Build a sustainable staffing model.
- Improve utilization of operational systems and reporting tools.
- Lead through the expansion and future opening of the new tower.
- Collaborate with Culinary, Operations, and Leadership to elevate the dining experience.
