About the Role

Lead the finance function for a large-scale global manufacturing facility with nearly 1000 employees. Gain direct exposure to senior leadership, including the VP of Finance and Plant leadership team. The Director of Finance will take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic financial planning for a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Opportunity to influence major capital investment projects, including new production lines and facility enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities for the manufacturing site.
  • Partner with plant leadership to drive financial performance and operational decision-making.
  • Oversee capital expenditure planning and financial support for major manufacturing investments.
  • Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, including cost accounting and financial analysis functions.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, controls, and compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support production, operations, and business growth initiatives.
  • Oversee the month close process and review activities of the Assistant Controller.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of finance experience within a large manufacturing environment with cost knowledge.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing finance or accounting teams.
  • Previous experience overseeing plant finance, controllership, or director-level manufacturing finance functions.
  • Strong ERP expertise with SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Former accounting experience within a regulated industry such as Consumer-packaged goods, Medical, Medical Device, Aerospace, Chemical, or Cosmetics.

Benefits

  • Base salary $175,000 – $200,000 plus bonus (15-20%) and LTIP.
