Director of Finance, Jackson Main Hospital, Full Time, Days
Duties And Responsibilities
- Implement remedies for obstacles to efficient and accurate processing of invoices.
- Responsible for directing the operation and maintenance of the Decision Support/Cost Accounting System.
- Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel.
- Oversees all audit and internal control operations.
- Responsible for directing the development of new functionality and enhancements in the Decision Support/Cost Accounting system.
- Directs development and implements Cost Accounting and service line control and report systems.
- Directs and coordinates cost reduction and cost control analysis.
- Directs and performs financial analyses on projects/programs as assigned.
- Provides support to Managed Care Department, Budget Department, Strategic Planning Department
- Directs the evaluation, implementation and long-term monitoring of corporate process improvement/process re-design initiatives.
- Ensures adherence to financial laws and guidelines.
Experience
Generally requires 7 to 10 years of related experience. Management experience is required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in related field is required. Master's degree is strongly preferred.
