Director of Finance (Hands-On, Strategic Operator)

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

• Work directly with business owners to understand how their business really operates
• Turn financials into clear, actionable insights (not just reports)
• Own cash flow, forecasting, and profitability strategy
• Build and refine KPIs that actually drive behavior and results
• Help clients make decisions around hiring, pricing, expansion, and investment
• Identify problems early—and help fix them (not just point them out)
• Lead client meetings and be a trusted voice in the room
• Collaborate with our internal team to ensure execution matches strategy

What You Bring

• A strong financial foundation (accounting, FP&A, or similar background)
• Experience with financial statements, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Ability to connect numbers to real-world business decisions
• Comfort working across multiple clients or projects
• Experience with tools like QuickBooks Online and Excel
• Strong communication skills—you can lead a room, not just analyze data
