About the role
The mission of West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is to 'Serve West Point and the Long Gray Line.' WPAOG is both the alumni association and foundation for the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point. Our vision is to ensure the Long Gray Line remains the most highly connected alumni body in the world. USMA is renowned as the world's preeminent leadership development institution. The student body, or Corps of Cadets, numbers 4,400, and each year approximately 1,000 cadets graduate and are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army.
Responsibilities
- Direct responsibility including 2 direct reports
- Specific knowledge of endowments, cash management & treasury, construction accounting, portfolio management, contract administration, financial systems, internal control management & reporting
- Broad business, finance reporting and accounting analyses
- Evaluating the accounting and reporting needs of the finance function
- Design and implementation of systematic applications to meet these needs within generally accepted accounting principles of non-profit organizations
- Audit, compliance and ad hoc reporting projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5 to 8 years of experience
- An MBA, along with Financial Edge software experience within a non-profit environment is a definite plus, but not a requirement
Qualifications

- Fast-paced environment
- Timely information and results
- Strong interpersonal, communication and computer skills including a working knowledge of all the Microsoft Office applications

$110,000 to $120,000 depending on skills and experience.
