Director of Finance

About the Role

This is a confidential, high-visibility Director of Finance opportunity with a mission-driven organization undergoing continued growth and transformation. The role is ideal for a hands-on accounting/finance leader who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and building strong teams. You will oversee approximately 12 employees across accounting, operations, and financial analysis while partnering closely with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 12+ across accounting, payroll, and finance
• Oversee revenue recognition, billing, reporting, forecasting, controls, and budgeting
• Revamp processes to create efficiencies and improve financial operations
• Collaborate with senior leadership to influence strategy and decision-making

Requirements

• 5+ years of finance/accounting leadership experience in a medium to large complex organization
• Strong accounting and analytical skills
• Experience with revenue recognition, reimbursement, forecasting, and reporting
• Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable with operational execution
• Proven leadership and relationship-building abilities

Qualifications

• Health and human services experience preferred but not required
• Accounting Managers or Controllers ready for their next career step are encouraged to apply
