Responsibilities
- Lead accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and finance operations
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, statutory accounting, regulatory requirements, and tax regulations
- Manage financial reporting processes and executive-level reporting packages
- Parenth with senior leadership on organizational strategy and growth initiatives
- Oversee risk management, governance, and internal control environments
- Drive financial system enhancements, reporting automation, and process improvement initiatives
- Lead and develop a team responsible for accounting, FP&A, and treasury functions
- Monitor financial performance drivers and provide actionable business insights
- Support capital planning, investment management, and treasury activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, corporate finance, and financial operations
- Deep understanding of GAAP, STAT accounting, regulatory compliance, tax, and premium tax requirements
- Strong knowledge of insurance operations, capital management, investments, treasury, and financial performance drivers
- Experience leading accounting and finance teams in complex organizations
- Experience in internal controls, risk management, governance, and compliance
- Experience leveraging data analytics and technology-enabled solutions to improve performance and decision-making
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
