Director of Finance

Position Summary

The Director of Finance leads the organization's financial planning, reporting, and analysis efforts. This role ensures accurate financial operations, supports strategic decision-making, and collaborates across departments to drive organizational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations, including reporting, planning, and compliance
• Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Develop forecasts and budgets in collaboration with leadership
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations
• Manage and mentor finance team members
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business objectives
• Coordinate with auditors and external partners as needed
• Support cross-functional initiatives through financial analysis and guidance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
• Experience within Property Management handling audits, compliance, and financial systems
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software platforms, Yardi highly preferred
