Director of Finance

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to oversee the financial operations of two hospitality properties in the Washington, DC area. The Director of Finance serves as the senior financial leader for both properties, partnering closely with General Managers and Executive Teams to drive profitability, financial performance, compliance, and operational excellence. The Director of Finance will split time between the two properties and lead the accounting teams at each location.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial advisor to leadership teams
• Oversee all accounting and finance functions
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reporting
• Develop and mentor accounting teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Progressive hospitality finance experience
• Multi-property experience preferred
• Experience leading accounting teams and developing staff
