Director of Finance

About the role

The Director of Finance will lead the financial strategy and operations for Hotel Cleveland Autograph Collection, a part of the growing Autograph Collection brand. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support the hotel’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the hotel’s business objectives
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Lead financial analysis and reporting to inform decision-making
• Manage financial risk and ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost efficiency and revenue generation
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably within hospitality industry
• Proven track record of leading financial teams and driving financial performance
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure

Qualifications

• CPA certification preferred
• Experience with hotel financial systems and software (e.g., PMS, RMS)
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
