About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the university's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the university’s network infrastructure, including servers and routers.
- Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect the university’s data and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on hardware and software to ensure smooth operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in IT management.
- Experience with network administration, server management, and cybersecurity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and cloud computing platforms.
- Knowledge of network protocols and standards.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and security software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
