About the role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance & Administration to lead our accounting, finance, HR, and administrative functions. This leadership position partners closely with executive management to ensure financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and continued organizational growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis.
- Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, tax compliance, and financial best practices.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and business performance.
- Oversee Human Resources, including payroll oversight, benefits, recruiting, employee relations, compliance, and workforce planning.
- Manage office administration, vendor relationships, facilities, contracts, and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop and mentor team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–10 years of progressive accounting, finance, or operational leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Experience managing full-cycle accounting operations and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- PREFERRED:
- CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification.
- Experience leading teams in a small to mid-sized or high-growth organization.
- Audit, tax compliance, payroll, and HR administration experience.
