Director of Finance & Accounting

About the role

This role is the head of Finance & Accounting and a member of the Hotel Rehabs leadership team from day one. You’ll own our financial strategy, lead and grow the F&A department, and be a true business partner driving the future of the company.

Responsibilities

• Leverage your expertise to lead, manage, and hold your team accountable
• Ensure compliance with business and tax regulations
• Drive clarity with financial and operational metrics
• Manage cash and risk, protecting and growing financial strength
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable, ensuring smooth operations
• Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate across the company to solve challenges, unlock growth, and improve performance

Requirements

• Licensed in 35+ states (and growing)
• Expert in construction finance, project accounting, GAAP, and cost control
• Strong communication skills—positive, upbeat, and solutions-focused
• Tech- and automation-savvy (ERP, integrations, reporting tools)
• A proven track record of leading and coaching high-performing teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the construction industry
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• CPA certification preferred

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with ERP systems and other financial software

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to skills and experience.
