About the role

The Director of Enrollment is a driven, highly strategic, and growth-oriented leader responsible for building and converting a strong pipeline of mission-aligned families through proactive outreach, relationship-building, and creative recruitment strategies. This role is externally focused and energized by expanding GPA’s reach, visibility, and connections within the broader community.

Responsibilities

  • Owning the full admissions lifecycle—from recruitment through enrollment, onboarding, re-enrollment, and retention
  • Pairs disciplined planning with a strong relational approach, using data to guide decisions, set clear objectives, and meet the Board’s enrollment and net tuition revenue goals
  • Clarifies how prospective families are identified, engaged, and supported, ensuring transparency and shared understanding across the institution
  • Serves as the strategic partner and owner of enrollment and retention outcomes, ensuring that community engagement efforts meaningfully support recruitment, yield, and long-term persistence
  • Collaborates closely with the Head of School, Finance, Marketing & Communications, academic leaders, and the Admissions & Community Engagement Associate to execute strategy, strengthen outreach efforts, and continuously refine approach in support of sustained enrollment growth

Requirements

  • Proven success in managing complex enrollment processes and achieving enrollment goals
  • Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive recruitment strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of best practices in enrollment management and student retention

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in enrollment management or related field
