Responsibilities
- Engineering Leadership & Oversight
- Oversee the performance and output of multiple engineering teams, ensuring projects are executed effectively and aligned with business goals.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering managers and senior technical staff.
- Strategic Planning & Vision
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop engineering strategy and long-term roadmaps.
- Lead the evolution of systems and processes through an ongoing agentic AI transformation.
- Project Management & Execution
- Manage large-scale, complex engineering initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and with high quality.
- Oversee project prioritization, resource allocation, and risk management activities.
- Technical Innovation & Excellence
- Drive innovation in technology and engineering processes, with a focus on AI-driven development and agentic loop engineering.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and experimentation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product, design, operations, and other business functions to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategic initiatives.
- Serve as a key liaison between engineering and business stakeholders.
- Team Development & Mentorship
- Build, scale, and develop engineering talent.
- Mentor senior technical leaders and engineering managers, supporting their growth in both leadership and technical capabilities.
- Performance Metrics & Reporting
- Establish and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) for engineering teams.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to executive leadership on performance, progress, and risks.
- Process Optimization
- Continuously improve engineering workflows, development processes, and tooling to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Implement best practices around Agile development, quality assurance, CI/CD, and DevOps.
- Risk Management & Problem Solving
- Identify technical risks proactively and drive mitigation strategies.
- Lead resolution efforts for complex technical and organizational challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering or related technical disciplines.
- 5+ years of engineering leadership experience, ideally at the Director or Senior Manager level.
- Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams and delivering highly complex, high-impact initiatives.
- Strong technical background in software development, systems architecture, cloud technologies, and modern engineering practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills with the ability to align technical initiatives to business objectives.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience managing complex technical challenges.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.

$250,000 - $350,000 per year + Equity
