Director of Engagement

Responsibilities

• Lead program-level communications and stakeholder engagement strategies for major infrastructure programs
• Advise agency leadership on messaging, stakeholder alignment, and construction communications
• Develop alignment strategies and messaging frameworks for multiple projects and stakeholders
• Translate complex technical information into effective communications for public understanding
• Strengthen coordination across technical teams and client stakeholders for effective project delivery
• Manage scope, schedule, and performance of concurrent projects
• Support business development efforts including proposals and pursuits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Planning, Business, or related field
• 15+ years of experience supporting major infrastructure programs
• Transportation program client experience at federal, municipal, and/or state level
• Demonstrated leadership in delivering complex communications and stakeholder engagement programs
• Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels
• Strong writing, editing, and strategic planning skills

Preferred

• Accreditation in Public Relations (APR)

Pay

$226,929 – $252,143 annually
