About the role
A leading acute care hospital in Houston is seeking a Director of Emergency Services to lead operations for a busy Emergency Department in a 300+ bed facility. This hospital has a long-standing reputation for excellence, advanced certifications, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations, patient care, and staffing
- Lead patient satisfaction and quality improvement efforts
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Mentor and develop clinical and leadership teams
- Manage departmental budget and strategic planning
Qualifications
- 2+ years RECENT acute care Director of ED experience (or strong ED Manager with 3–5 yrs leadership exp.)
- BSN required; MSN/MBA/MHA preferred
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and BLS required
Pay & Schedule
Shift: Days | Salary: $130K–$140K+ (DOE; up to $145K for 10+ yrs exp.)
