Director of EHS
About the role
We're seeking a Director of Enterprise Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) who will champion a safety-first culture across DeZURIK's organization. This role involves building systems, standards, and accountability to protect our team members and support operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Establish enterprise-wide safety and environmental systems
- Drive compliance and reduce operational risk
- Elevate safety performance through strategic partnerships and site engagement
- Develop standards, reporting platforms, training programs, and governance processes
- Serve as a trusted advisor to site leaders
- Partner with executive and operations leaders to ensure consistent execution of EHS programs
- Engage with sites to strengthen relationships and ensure safety standards are met
Requirements
- Deep expertise in OSHA, EPA, and manufacturing safety environments
- Strong technical knowledge combined with exceptional communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to influence others without direct authority
- Principled, ethical leadership with a passion for protecting people and strengthening environmental stewardship
- Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial setting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in EHS management
- Proven track record of driving safety initiatives and improving safety performance
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and engaging with executive leadership
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

Pay
DeZURIK offers a competitive base salary in the $111,971 to $139,964 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus opportunities tied to performance.
Schedule
Up to 30% travel to engage with our sites, strengthen relationships, and ensure consistent execution of EHS programs across the enterprise.
