About the role

The Director of Educational Technology (the Director) will play a key role in academic life at Ransom Everglades School (RE), blending curricular innovation with IT management. They will focus on integrating technology in ways that enhance excellent teaching and learning, continue to develop digital literacy among the school community, and regularly evaluate emerging tools in the space.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategic priorities for educational technology at RE
  • Engage with the school community to advance digital literacy
  • Serve as a partner on AI in the classroom
  • Collaborate with Technology Services to ensure cohesion between educational technology and general technology tools

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in educational technology or related field
  • A proven track record of leading and implementing technology initiatives in a K-12 setting
  • Experience with integrating technology to support curriculum development and delivery
  • Strong understanding of current trends in educational technology and emerging technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain educational technology concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, and parents

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in education, technology, or a related field
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of relevant educational standards and best practices

Pay

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The Director will work a standard Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional evening and weekend work required to meet the needs of the school.
