Director of Education
About the role
Communicate with the corporate office to ensure all instruction and faculty training aligns with ACCSC, state departments of education, FAA, and other regulatory agencies. Ensure educational integrity of all programs focusing on curriculum, instructor development, and instructional resources.
Responsibilities
- Serve as liaison between campus and corporate program directors
- Audit all school curricula to ensure current syllabi, lesson plans, and textbooks are used
- Audit and report on instructor performance at least semi-annually
- Create, monitor, and update Faculty Personnel Reports (FPR)
- Facilitate initial instructor training by ACCSC standards
- Facilitate ongoing instructor development with educational personnel
- Chair Program Coordinator meetings and ensure minutes are reviewed
- Organize and facilitate Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings
- Complete other tasks assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- 3+ years of management experience or proven leadership in a relevant role
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with strong attention to detail and proactive approach
- Demonstrated expertise in conflict resolution, fostering positive workplace relationships, and collaboration within teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for building rapport and maintaining professional relationships
- Capable individual contributor with effective leadership skills; adept at balancing diplomacy and assertiveness
- Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Positive, team-oriented attitude willing to work outside of scheduled hours as needed
Qualifications
- FAA A&P certification
- Bachelor’s degree in teaching or related field
- Teaching experience
- Experience with Anthology

Pay
Up to $110,000
Schedule
On-site Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 6:00pm, occasional night and weekend hours based on campus needs
