Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new projects from inception through to delivery into a production environment.
  • Manage all IT capabilities, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with the new Transpak platform.
  • Work closely with the VP of IT and staff to assess user needs and align with business environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Evaluate technology performance and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Contribute to and implement organizational strategy, working with people at all levels and from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deliver set tasks, objectives, and strategic priorities.
  • Strategically think and lead by example, demonstrating the ability to deliver set tasks, objectives, and strategic priorities.
  • Assess current methods and recommend improvements.
  • Implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong user engagement and communication skills.
  • Capacity to work with people at all levels in an organization and with people from many cultural backgrounds.

  • Excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Experience in hardware, operating systems, software, and application development.
  • Experience in implementing ERP and CRM systems.
  • Experience in writing requirements and supervising outsourced IT projects.
  • Full project lifecycle experience.
  • Systems roll out / implementation experience.
  • Understanding of and experience with database concepts.
  • Knowledgeable of IP management.
  • Experience assessing current applications and recommending improvements.
  • Experience in team leadership.
  • Experience dealing with third parties and IT vendors.
