Director of DevOps/Cloudops

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $184,000 – $231,000 annually

About the role

This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will partner with operational leaders and project stakeholders to standardize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and improve execution quality. The position offers the opportunity to create measurable efficiency gains and scalable operational improvements within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global DevOps/CloudOps team, ensuring best practices and standards
• Collaborate across teams to manage applications and cloud environments
• Implement DevOps/CloudOps principles and best practices effectively
• Create operational plans and deliver commitments in Agile environments
• Report on system performance and resolve critical issues quickly
• Manage resource staffing and enhance team capabilities and tooling
• Develop cloud infrastructure metrics and establish monitoring dashboards

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred
• 10+ years DevOps/CloudOps experience, 5+ in cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
• 7+ years leading Agile teams with expertise in Agile/Lean principles
• 5+ years in driving full DevOps automation practices
• Experience building and managing DevOps/CloudOps teams
• Hands-on operational experience with cloud production and CI/CD pipelines
