Director of Development: PSF

Job Summary

DeSales University, a Catholic, private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts university, is seeking a Director of Development for its festival fundraising efforts. The position involves planning and implementing fundraising strategies to raise over $1.1 million annually, with growth anticipated in the future. Fundraising activities include solicitation of individual and corporate donors, cultivation and stewardship, special events, foundation and government grants, government relations, and annual appeals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2-5 years experience in fundraising
• Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel to meet with prospects and donors in the community
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as necessary
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Dedication to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution
