DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT - PRICE COLLEGE OF BUSINESS

About the role

The Director of Development reports to the Executive Director of Advancement for Price College of Business and will manage a portfolio of major gift donors ($25,000+).

Responsibilities

• Works closely with fellow OU Foundation colleagues as well as faculty, staff and administrative leadership on the OU Norman campus to develop and implement fundraising strategy.
• Carries an expected annual fundraising goal of $3 million ($15 million over a rolling five-year period).
• Requires regular nationwide travel.
• Bridges complex, impact-based philanthropic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of progressive experience in fundraising, sales and/or gift planning-related roles required.
• Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in fundraising, sales, and/or gift planning roles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience managing relationships with high-level donors.
• Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising principles and practices.

Skills

• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
