About the role

Amplified is seeking a passionate, strategic, and relationship-oriented development professional to help advance their next chapter of impact across the San Diego nonprofit sector. As nonprofits throughout the region increasingly turn to Amplified for strategic guidance and capacity-building support, we are expanding our fundraising capacity and organizational infrastructure to meet the growing demand for our work.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to support Amplified's growth and impact
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including donors, foundations, corporations, and government agencies
  • Manage donor communications and stewardship efforts to ensure donor satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborate with program teams to align fundraising goals with organizational priorities
  • Stay informed about trends in the nonprofit sector and leverage this knowledge to inform fundraising initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nonprofit management, public relations, marketing)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fundraising or related field
  • Proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns and donor acquisition
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience managing donor databases and CRM systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Qualifications

  • Passion for the nonprofit sector and a commitment to social impact
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software
