About the role
The Director of Destination Services oversees leisure and group travel activities and services in the City of Little Rock, developing strategies to increase visitor attendance, spending, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Reviews activities and services to enhance visitor experiences and satisfaction.
- Develops and implements strategies to attract more visitors to the city.
- Works closely with local businesses and attractions to promote the city as a tourist destination.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of events and services.
Requirements
- Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience working in the hospitality/tourism industry.
- Preferred experience in sales within the hospitality/tourism industry.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License.
- Availability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as required.
