About the role
The Director of Data Strategy will lead the development and implementation of data strategies across the organization. This includes overseeing data governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive data strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee data governance processes to ensure data quality and integrity
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and standards
- Drive data-driven initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analytics into business processes
- Manage data infrastructure and tools to support data strategy objectives
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of data strategy effectiveness
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in data strategy, architecture, or a related field
- Proven track record of successful data strategy implementation
- Experience with data governance frameworks and best practices
- Strong understanding of data privacy and security regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing technologies
Qualifications
- Experience leading large-scale data projects
- Knowledge of data management tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
