About the role
The Director of Culinary Services oversees all culinary operations, ensuring high-quality food service and adherence to health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the kitchen staff and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement new menu items based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Manage budgeting and procurement processes to maintain cost efficiency while ensuring quality ingredients are used.
- Collaborate with the executive chef to plan and execute special events and banquets.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial kitchen setting.
- Proven track record of managing budgets and staff effectively.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with food safety and sanitation protocols.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of food service management principles and practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
- Valid Food Handlers’ Permit.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
$X per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts.
