About the role
The Director of Critical Care CVICU oversees the function and staffing of the unit/department, forecasts, plans, and monitors budgets. They foster a culture of accountability and collaboration and support the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the unit/department
- Fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration
- Supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - required
- Master's Degree - preferred
- 3 + years of CVICU experience
- 3-5 years of leadership experience
Qualifications
