Director of Corporate Communications
About the role
The Director of Corporate Communications is a newly created, high impact role that will help shape Vantive’s global communications strategy and team during a period of significant transformation. As a senior leader within the Communications function, this individual will serve as a strategic counselor and hands-on operator responsible for elevating the visibility, credibility, and consistency of Vantive’s messaging across business lines, geographies, and stakeholder groups.
Responsibilities
Global Business Line & Commercial Communications (Chronic, Acute & Digital)
Lead external and internal communications for Vantive’s core business lines, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and therapy-area priorities.
Partner closely with global commercial leaders to craft narratives that differentiate Vantive commercially and clinically across diverse markets.
Build integrated communications plans that support product launches, lifecycle milestones, digital initiatives, and partnerships.
Crisis & Issues Management
Lead global issues and crisis communications program.
Develop scenario plans, messaging frameworks, and response protocols; advise senior leadership during emerging issues.
Strengthen enterprise readiness in collaboration with Legal, Quality, Regulatory, and Corporate Affairs teams.
Corporate Financial Communications
Lead development of Vantive’s corporate financial and business strategy narrative as a newly independent company.
Support internal and external communication of corporate financial results, business performance updates, and enterprise milestones.
Partner with Finance, Legal and other executive team members to develop strategic messaging, Q&A, press statements, and financial disclosures as needed.
Treatment Awareness & Patient Storytelling
In partnership with Corporate Affairs and Global Strategic Marketing, build and scale an enterprise therapy awareness platform and media engagement strategy that increases understanding of vital organ therapies globally.
Collaborate with Global Strategic Marketing to develop and amplify ethical, human centered patient storytelling programs that reinforce Vantive’s purpose and impact.
Ensure alignment with legal, medical, regulatory, and privacy requirements.
Americas Communications
Lead the integrated communications strategy for the Americas region, working closely with regional commercial leaders and cross-functional partners.
Strengthen Vantive’s reputation with customers, health systems, policymakers, and media across the U.S., Canada, and LATAM.
Serve as a spokesperson for media engagements when appropriate.
Cross Functional & Enterprise Leadership
Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on communications strategy, media positioning, and stakeholder implications.
Contribute to the development of a best-in-class global communications team and culture in partnership with the VP of Communications.
Support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, and position Vantive as a thought leader.
Requirements
10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, medical technology, or a related regulated environment.
Strong blend of agency and in-house experience is highly preferred.
Proven success in corporate financial communications, including public company norms, earnings cycles, and disclosure considerations.
Demonstrated excellence in media relations, crisis management, and issues communications.
Experience supporting commercial communications across multiple therapy areas or product lines, ideally global in scope.
Qualifications
Exceptional writer and storyteller with the ability to translate complex science, financial information, and strategy into clear, compelling narratives.
Strong counselor with the ability to influence senior leaders and advise during high-stakes situations.
Deep understanding of digital platforms, social media strategy, and emerging communication tools.
Strong financial acumen and ability to connect corporate performance with messaging and stakeholder expectations.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic, transformation-heavy environment.
Ability to collaborate across geographies, cultures, and highly matrixed teams.
Experience leveraging AI tools in content development, analytics, workflows, or audience engagement is a plus.
Skills & Capabilities

Pay
The estimated base salary for this position is $180,000 - $250,000 annually.
