About the role

Haskell is committed to providing resources for career growth and fostering an innovative environment. This role focuses on overseeing Municipal Water & Wastewater Construction operations, managing personnel, and ensuring project profitability, schedule, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Aids in proposal preparation and project development.
  • Coordinates design and pre-construction activities, acts as client liaison.
  • Participates in design review meetings, leads construction kick-off meetings, and monitors document production.
  • Supports Project Manager with project schedules, estimates, cost codes, and purchase controls.
  • Reviews construction drawings and specifications, handles change orders, and makes recommendations for construction techniques and staffing.
  • Ensures adequate subcontractor insurance coverage and enforces policies.
  • Verifies subcontractor compliance with company policy and monitors project progress.
  • Trains and develops Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in Industrial Water/Wastewater facility construction, design, or management.
  • Advanced knowledge of the construction industry and company operations.
  • Extensive experience in construction operations and management.
  • Specific knowledge of financial operations, estimating, and employee relations.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge in the design and construction of Industrial Water/Wastewater facilities.
  • Extensive experience in the management of construction operations.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
