For a leader in the Energy & Utilities space, we are seeking a Director of Construction – Water Infrastructure to join their team. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of large-scale water infrastructure and AMI projects from planning to closeout.
  • Direct project teams and subcontractors for safe and quality execution of projects.
  • Maintain oversight of project budgets, timelines, and quality metrics to meet deliverables.
  • Collaborate across departments to enhance interdepartmental processes and project efficiency.
  • Assist in developing contract documents and scopes of work, including bid packages.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies and vendors for project-specific needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and improve project execution efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years managing construction, engineering, utility, or project management.
  • Experience with complex water infrastructure or utility projects is preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors on large projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

$161,000 – $233,000 annually.
