About the role

The Director of Construction Major Projects position is based on a contract duration for the construction and closeout phases of an 88-unit mid-rise tower with amenity repositioning through 2029.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of large sized or complex facility design and construction projects, including large renovations, additions, and expansions throughout all states that Acts operates in.
  • Ensure adherence to project scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Oversee the coordination between design teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
  • Manage project budgets and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of ten years’ experience in construction project management, with a focus on large-scale commercial or residential developments.
  • Management experience in the senior living industry (preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects exceeding $50M in value.
  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-Certified Drone Pilot (Part 107) certification or ability to obtain is strongly preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Pay

$117,760.00 - $153,718.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
