About the role
The Director of Construction Major Projects position is based on a contract duration for the construction and closeout phases of an 88-unit mid-rise tower with amenity repositioning through 2029.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of large sized or complex facility design and construction projects, including large renovations, additions, and expansions throughout all states that Acts operates in.
- Ensure adherence to project scope, budget, and timeline.
- Oversee the coordination between design teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
- Manage project budgets and financial reporting.
- Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in construction project management, with a focus on large-scale commercial or residential developments.
- Management experience in the senior living industry (preferred).
- Demonstrated success in managing projects exceeding $50M in value.
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-Certified Drone Pilot (Part 107) certification or ability to obtain is strongly preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Pay
$117,760.00 - $153,718.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
