Responsibilities
- Serve as owner’s representative to the GC and tenant’s onsite leadership team, ensuring delivery meets Fermi’s standards for quality, safety, schedule, and cost
- Build and lead a team of DC project managers across concurrent building phases
- Own GC and tenant relationships at the program level — managing escalations, resolving disputes, aligning on sequencing and resource loading
- Oversee GMP contract administration, including change order management, pay application review, and scope validation
- Coverage with design integration and engineering teams to keep packages construction-ready

- Implement earned value and progress measurement systems for real-time visibility
- Represent Fermi in customer-facing settings with hyperscaler tenants and development partners
- Drive continuous improvement across successive building phases
Qualifications
- 18+ years in construction management, 10+ in hyperscale data center or mission-critical programs
- Experience as an owner’s representative managing GCs on large-scale programs
- Strong command of GMP/EPC contract structures
- Deep knowledge of data center construction sequencing — shell/core, MEP, critical power, cooling
- Executive presence: comfortable representing Fermi in front of hyperscaler and technology company leadership
- Career trajectory with runway to grow — this is a foundational hire and we want someone who wants to build something
- Hyperscaler background strongly preferred; Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Pay
Pay range and compensation package: Base: $200,000 - 300,000
