About the role
This newly created role functions at the intersection of Accounting & FP&A, providing visibility to the financial picture to executives, investors, the board and the business. The company is stretching from tradition-based decision-making to a more agile approach. The Director will have genuine business curiosity, and own/produce consolidated financial statement for NA, including BS and CF reporting, cash reserves and management reporting, developing consistency and improving speed and clarity to all stakeholders.
Key challenges
- Leveling up the design of key financial decks and reporting packages with performance drivers/trends, risks/opportunities
- Developing KPIs on revenue, Opex, GM, working capital & profitability
- Buildout of scalable reporting tools & dashboards on enterprise and site performance
- Reduction of manual reporting through improved processes/documentation, automation, and system utilization
- Creating repeatable analytical frameworks that allow management to identify trends and exceptions more quickly
Qualifications
- Manager, Senior Manager, or Director with a hybrid background that includes audit, financial reporting and corporate accounting & finance/analytics
- Knowledge of current GAAP/IFRS
- Mix of PE-backed and public company environments with complex multi-location operations
- Experience with highly customized ERP systems
- Influential, persuasive and confident in relationship building and communications with functional areas that don't always see eye-to-eye or those who resist adaptation to change
Compensation & benefits
- Compensation package in the high $100Ks and up to $200K for the ideal candidate
- 20% targeted bonus
