Director of Compliance, Employee Benefits-Insurance Advisory Solutions

For our client, we are seeking a Director of Compliance, Employee Benefits-Insurance Advisory Solutions to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This leader will oversee employee benefits compliance activities within a national advisory environment, translating legal and regulatory changes into practical guidance for internal teams and clients. The role will partner closely with national compliance leadership and support West region initiatives that align compliance execution with sales objectives. It is an opportunity to shape compliance strategy, mentor junior team members, and contribute to large-scale projects with broad geographic impact. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $185,000 annually Responsibilities Coordinate with the national compliance team on large-scale projects and daily operations Mentor junior compliance team members in project management and legal interpretation Draft and deliver timely, legally relevant client resources and educational materials Manage compliance-related activities for the West region to support sales initiatives Review and translate legal and regulatory developments into actionable guidance Qualifications Graduate or advanced degree such as a Master’s degree, JD, or Ph.D. required Juris Doctor strongly preferred Minimum of 10 years of relevant health and welfare employee benefits compliance experience required Significant experience advising on California-specific health and welfare compliance requirements strongly preferred Benefits Mentoring and professional development opportunities Support for sales initiatives in a dynamic business environment Involvement in large-scale compliance projects with a national reach Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
