About the role
This position anchors the relationship between families and Alpha, a school reimagining the school day with AI-powered platforms. The role involves leading conversations about Alpha's AI-driven approach with ultra-high-net-worth families.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the complete relationship with every family at your campus, cultivating trust that strengthens over time
- Identify and address concerns proactively with discretion, efficiency, and thoughtful judgment
- Ensure strong visibility at critical touchpoints: morning arrival, afternoon departure, and thoughtfully planned parent gatherings
- Facilitate ongoing, substantive discussions about Alpha's AI-driven approach with highly analytical, technology-oriented families
- Create and iterate on community experiences that foster belonging, advocacy, and organic referrals
Requirements
- Located in or capable of daily commute to Palo Alto, Piedmont, San Francisco, La Jolla, or Los Angeles
- 5+ years of direct experience with UHNW individuals or families in contexts such as private schools, private equity, family offices, or elite service environments
- Demonstrated capability to manage complex, high-stakes relationships with discretion and reliable judgment
- Daily, active use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) with the capacity to articulate AI strengths, risks, and boundaries clearly
- Commanding presence and communication approach that builds credibility with highly educated, demanding families
- Knowledge of private or independent school environments, gained professionally or personally
- Flexible availability for early mornings, late afternoons, and occasional evening or weekend programming
Qualifications
- Established connections within local private school or UHNW networks
- Background working with founders, investors, or technology executives
- Proven success building communities or experiences that generate organic referrals
- Experience in early-stage or rapidly scaling organizations where uncertainty is common
- Skill in translating technical complexity into clear, assured dialogue
Skills
- Fluency in discussing AI with families who launch companies, fund them, or demand exactness in all matters
- Ability to sustain a high-level dialogue on AI with ultra-high-net-worth families
