About the role

The Director of Communications, Mentor Worldwide serves as a valued counselor to the global platform leadership team while partnering with cross-functional teams and regions to advance organizational priorities, drive strategy alignment, and achieve commercial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Build a deep understanding of the business, technology development, and market opportunities to inform an integrated global communications and marcomms plan.
  • Work in close collaboration with functional colleagues around the world, including Global Strategic Marketing, Brand Marketing, Region Commercial, MedTech global communications, Human Resources, Legal, Johnson & Johnson leadership, and more.
  • Lead a team of communicators and independently lead project teams of agency professionals on both an ongoing and as needed basis.

Requirements

  • Exceptional writing and presentation development skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong influence, relationship-building, and executive-level communication capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of media analytics, content strategy, and brand and marketing communications.
  • Minimum 10 years leading communications in a corporate, government, or agency environment.
  • Experience in healthcare and/or consumer health communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Public Affairs, or closely related field.
  • Strong track record of independently driving high-impact communication programs across multiple audiences.
  • Forward-thinking, strategic leader who challenges the status quo in aesthetics and reconstructive surgery space.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with multiple internal and external partners.
  • Successful candidate will demonstrate strong executive presence and the ability to thoughtfully advise top executives.

Pay

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $150,000.00 - $258,750.00 For Bay Area $172,000.00 - $297,850.00

Schedule

This is a hybrid in-person role with a preferred location in Irvine, California although Raritan, NJ and Santa Clara, CA may be considered.
