About the role
The Center for Neurological Restoration at the Cleveland Clinic is recruiting for a Director of Clinical Research in Movement Disorders and Functional Neurosurgery to join our multi-disciplinary group practice in Northeast Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the clinical trials and research program of the Movement Disorders and Functional Neurosurgery Section
- Collaborate with 10 Fellowship-trained movement disorders specialists, 3 functional neurosurgeons, 2 neuropsychologists, 2 bioethicists, and 7 advanced practice providers
- Work within a diverse, multidisciplinary academic Neurological Institute
- Collaborate with world-class clinicians and leaders throughout the Neurological Institute
- Collaborate with faculty and medical students of Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and Case Western Reserve University
- Collaborate with basic and translational scientists of the Lerner Research Institute
- Collaborate with the 9 Cleveland Clinic Regional Hospitals and several Family Health Centers in Northeast Ohio, as well as Cleveland Clinic Florida, Nevada, Toronto, Abu Dhabi and London
Requirements
- M.D./D.O. degree or equivalent
- Experience and research interest in Deep Brain Stimulation/Functional Neurosurgery, Electrophysiology/Brain mapping, Clinical trials, Patient outcomes/Neuro-technology, Biomarkers/Genetics/Neuroimaging, Health services research, and more
Qualifications
- Advanced training in Movement Disorders and Deep Brain Stimulation
- Passion for leading and growing the clinical trials and research program of the Section
Skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage a team of research coordinators
- Knowledge of clinical research protocols and regulations

Pay
Minimum salary: $286,500
Maximum salary: $963,000
