Responsibilities

• Clinical Incident & Complaint Management
  • Monitor incident aging and closure time.
  • Ensure complaint response timeliness and resolution effectiveness.
  • Achieve established service-level agreements (SLAs) for clinical incident investigations and complaint management.
  • Manage escalation response performance and timely engagement of stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality and completeness of documentation, investigation findings, and follow-up actions.
• Quality, Risk & Corrective Action Management
  • Oversee timely completion and effectiveness of corrective-action plans.
  • Reduce repeat audit findings, clinical incidents, and preventable quality events.
  • Manage audit performance, findings, and recurrence prevention.
  • Conduct quarterly trend analysis and implement preventive and quality-improvement actions.
  • Provide DNR, clinical-event, and complaint trend reporting with actionable recommendations.
• Joint Commission & Accreditation Readiness
  • Maintain continuous readiness for Joint Commission Health Care Staffing Services (HCSS) certification.
  • Successfully manage accreditation surveys, audits, and regulatory reviews.
  • Ensure timely resolution of accreditation findings and corrective actions.
  • Maintain ongoing compliance with organizational and regulatory quality standards.
• Clinical Governance & Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Illinois Supervising RN requirements and clinical-designation responsibilities.
  • Maintain multi-state nursing regulatory compliance and scope-of-practice oversight.
  • Resolve nursing practice, licensure, and regulatory inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Oversee effectiveness of clinical governance processes and risk-management activities.
• Workforce Quality & Clinical Support
  • Ensure clinical-screening effectiveness and quality of clinician assessment processes.
  • Develop and maintain competency standards across applicable clinical disciplines.
  • Support recruiting, operations, compliance, and client-service teams through timely clinical consultation.
  • Oversee effectiveness of DNR and clinician-performance review processes.
• Client Partnership & Service Excellence
  • Monitor client satisfaction with clinical support and consultation.
  • Ensure responsiveness to client clinical concerns, escalations, and quality inquiries.
  • Participate in client meetings, QBRs, and strategic workforce discussions.
  • Foster effective partnerships with hospital nursing leaders, hiring managers, and client stakeholders.
