About the role
The Director of Clinical Operations oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the organization. This role drives operational efficiency, optimizes processes, ensures high-quality service delivery, and supports strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
Developing and implementing operational strategies, plans, and initiatives aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Managing and optimizing operational processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
Monitoring and analyzing operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Managing and developing a high-performing operations team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Establishing and maintaining effective vendor and supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to operations.
Identifying and implementing technology solutions and tools to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Continuously assessing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive operational innovation and improvement.
Collaborating with senior management, the multidisciplinary team, and providing operational insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
A master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related clinical field is required.
State licensure as a mental health professional (e.g., Doctor of Psychology (PHD, PsyD), Licenced Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)) is required.
Significant experience leading clinical operations is required, with demonstrated success managing teams, workflows, compliance standards, and patient care delivery.
Additional certifications in crisis intervention, drug and alcohol counseling, or trauma-informed care are advantageous.
Must pass drug screening and background check in order to start employment with Novum Health.
Must be willing to receive vaccinations in accordance with hospital and state requirements.

Pay
The starting salary range for this role is a reasonable estimate, with a goal to pay a competitive market salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education and certification, skills, and internal pay equity.
