Director of Clinical Enablement

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing the clinical enablement strategy for the US orthopedic business, aligning it with key commercial objectives.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing the national clinical education and field clinical organization.
  • Designing and delivering scalable training and certification programs for field-based commercial teams and clinical specialists.
  • Collaborating with sales leadership to identify clinical capability gaps and enhance team performance with new technologies.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and orthopaedic surgeons to inform education strategies.
  • Leading all clinical enablement activities for new product launches to ensure successful commercialization.
  • Creating and managing surgeon education initiatives, including workshops, cadaver labs, and peer-to-peer events.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience within the orthopedics or surgical medical device industry.
  • A significant background in clinical education, professional education, sales enablement, or field clinical leadership.
  • A deep understanding of the US orthopedic market, surgical workflows, and technology adoption processes.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience, including managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven experience supporting the commercial launch of new medical technologies.
  • A Bachelor's degree as a minimum qualification.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience building and scaling clinical education programs across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Credibility and experience working directly with surgeons, KOLs, and senior clinical stakeholders.
  • An advanced clinical, scientific, or business qualification.

    Pay

    Base salary: $170,000 - $210,000
