Duties & Responsibilities Coordinates catering activities with client representativeSchedule catering associates and distribute workloadsPrepare pre-event and clean-up checklistsOrdering, receiving and inventory of suppliesCommunicates with General Manager, Chef and other team members to ensure high quality products and serviceMonitors care and operation of delivery vehiclesDrives Van and/or Box truck to or from Events as needed if Driver is unavailableFollow-up on catered eventsMonitors team member job performanceFinancial management of catering activities through effective food, labor and supply controlsWorks with Director of Special Events, Resident Director, General Manager, Client, and others as necessary regarding menu concepts and special eventsMaintain accurate records of events to assist other team members and plan for future businessAny position or other duties as required and assigned Requirements One to three years of management experience in the catering fieldExceptional interpersonal skills and decision-making abilityAbility to lead, supervise, train and coordinate the catering teamWillingness and availability to work a flexible scheduleMultitask including an extensive understanding of customer service principles and service recovery -on approach to training and development of the service teamOperational knowledge of commercial kitchen equipmentProficient with Microsoft Office applications and catering billing systemsServSafe Certification preferredValid license Benefits A family culture and atmosphereCompetitive compensationHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance for full-time team members401(k) with generous company matchPaid vacations and holidaysImmense training and growth opportunities We conduct pre-employment drug testing.
